Our Purpose

The purpose of Pioneer Baptist Church is to magnify the glory of the grace of God. The main way we do that is through our life as a church, gathering together to sing His praises, offer up our prayers, listen to the exposition of His Word, and care for one another.

Our Beliefs

When Pioneer Baptist Church constituted as a church, it adopted The Abstract of Principles (1858) as its confession of faith. The Abstract is a summary of the Second London Baptist Confession (1689). In summary, Pioneer Baptist church is committed to:

· The Inspiration, Inerrancy, and Sufficiency of Scripture
· The Triune Nature of God and the Deity of Jesus Christ
· God’s Sovereign Grace in Election
· The Total Depravity of Man
· The Substitutionary Atoning Death of Jesus Christ
· The New Birth as the Sole Work of the Holy Spirit
· The Necessity of Repentance and Faith for Conversion
· Justification by Imputed Righteousness
· Sanctification and Perseverance of the Saints
· Believer’s Baptism and The Lord’s Supper as Church Ordinances
